flowers
We grow our flowers in Fulton County, west central Illinois. The farm sits on a river bluff overlooking the confluence of the Spoon River into the Illinois River, surrounded by restored prairie, floodplains and wetlands, forest and farmland. We have about 1 acre of perennial beds featuring natives, garden plants and classic cut flowers, plus a shifting garden of annual flowers and cover crops. Our farming operation exists within the larger project of land stewardship as we transition a soybean field into a diverse, healthy and useful ecosystem. Ben also works as a freelance florist, working with talented teams to transform venues into immersive floral experiences. Click here for Freelance Portfolio.

markets
We currently move most of our flowers at the Peoria Riverfront Market, mid-May through September. It's a vibrant, Saturday morning market that happens during our peak season. We usually sell out by 10 am, so get there early!
you-pick
You-Pick Flower Days are on Sundays starting in July until mid-October. Different vessel sizes are available from $10 - $50. This is also a great time to take photos because the flower field shines as a picturesque backdrop. It's very laid back, and we encourage people to take their time and explore the beautiful property.

DIY florals
I specialize in DIY weddings, where I make the personals (bridal, brides maids', boutonnieres, corsages) and deliver them with buckets of loose blooms and foliage (approx 5-10 buckets) for friends and family to decorate. Bulk flowers are available by the bucket for any event May through October! Our minimum is $1,000. Contact Ben.
